
Researchers found out that like moderate exercise, repetitive laughing also lowers one’s stress hormones, boosts the immune system, lowers blood pressure, brings down your cholesterol level, and promotes positive mood.
This study was based on tests wherein changes in blood pressure, hormone levels, and endorphins were monitored before and after participants of the study were exposed to humorous and upsetting videos. It will be presented in this year’s Experimental Biology Conference.
